REDE "ready"

Radical = "root" in Latin

Empathy can be understood as "feeling with" someone else.

But what if we're unclear about our relationship?

REDE gets to the root of self/other dynamics.

It helps us uncover stories that tell us how to relate based on who we think we are and how we think about anyone "other" than ourselves.

These stories tell us what to expect from ourselves, other people, and the world we collectively inhabit. They shape our sense of entitlement.

"Radical Empathy" = getting clear on our relationships

by examining and shifting our narratives, leading to changed behavior.

Working with me = working with a bridge;

a.k.a., a radical empath who can help you identify and decrease your separation.

As a Kenyan American immigrant woman of color, living + working in the U.S., I have spent my life bridging spaces and studying separation––how people keep themselves siloed from one another, or thrive across the gap.

REDE fuses my anticolonial academic career and embodied social-justice training in a curriculum that "readies" clients to unlearn what prevents their connection and keeps them grasping for what is not theirs.
